Lotto.com® Becomes Presenting Partner of the World Series of Golf Satellite Series' $10,000 Champion's Check

Lotto.com® has joined the World Series of Golf (WSG) Satellite Series as its official lottery courier partner and the presenting sponsor of the $10,000 champion's check awarded at the Satellite Series National Final. The partnership runs through seven Topgolf venues across Arizona and Colorado this fall, pairing two very different kinds of winning moments: the flush of a well-struck golf shot and the rush of a winning scratch-off ticket.

If you've never heard of the WSG Satellite Series, here's what you need to know before qualifiers open on September 1, plus how new Lotto.com® customers can score a free Powerball ticket along the way.

What Is the World Series of Golf Satellite Series?

The WSG Satellite Series isn't a longest-drive contest or a traditional stroke-play tournament. It borrows the strategic tension of Texas Hold'em and applies it to golf. Players compete in Topgolf's virtual-golf modes while the WSG app runs the game mechanics: poker-style rounds, bay-versus-bay play, and a live leaderboard.

Robert Davidman, CEO of World Series of Golf, put it simply: "The World Series of Golf is not about being the best golfer but rather being the best at out-strategizing your opponents. You don't have to play every hole; rather, you need to win the holes you play."

That format makes the event unusually accessible. The WSG Championship has historically been invite-only, but the Satellite Series gives amateurs a real path onto that stage — no cash wagering involved. Players compete with chips and bankrolls that carry no monetary value, similar to a friendly home poker game, making this a skill-and-strategy competition rather than a gambling contest.

Qualifying Schedule: Key Dates to Know

The path from a Topgolf bay to the national stage in Scottsdale runs through three key dates:

September 1, 2026 kicks off Satellite Series Rounds 1 and 2, when up to 128 players per venue play nine holes and every bay produces a winner. September 2, 2026 brings Round 3 and each location's head-to-head final, narrowing the field until one venue champion emerges. October 2, 2026 is the National Final at Topgolf Scottsdale, where venue champions compete for a $10,000 WSG Championship seat and a shot at the $250,000 top prize.

The full Satellite Series spans 30 Topgolf locations across 11 states. Lotto.com®'s on-site activation, however, is concentrated on seven venues in its first phase: Topgolf Scottsdale, Gilbert, Glendale and Tucson in Arizona, and Topgolf Centennial, Thornton and Colorado Springs in Colorado.

Where You'll See Lotto.com at Topgolf This Fall

Lotto.com®'s role goes beyond a logo on a leaderboard. At the seven Arizona and Colorado venues, expect Lotto.com® branding on bay screens and leaderboards throughout qualifying and the National Final, on-site representatives demonstrating how the courier service works, and Lotto.com® presenting the $10,000 champion's check live at the October 2 National Final in Scottsdale.

Davidman said the goal is straightforward: give golfers and guests at Topgolf a reason to notice a service built for exactly how they already spend their time there. A Topgolf outing typically stretches across food, conversation, and dozens of swings — long enough that ordering a lottery ticket from your phone fits naturally into the visit instead of requiring a separate errand.

Claim the WSGOLF Promo Code for a Free Powerball Ticket

New Lotto.com® customers in eligible markets can use code WSGOLF at checkout for a free Powerball ticket through the end of 2026. A few things to know before you redeem it: availability varies by state, New York and Maine are excluded from this specific offer, and standard service fees apply.

Lotto.com® currently operates as a licensed lottery courier in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon and Puerto Rico. Davidman noted the WSG partnership can expand into more of these markets as the Satellite Series grows.

How to Enter the Satellite Series

Getting a seat at the table starts well before September 1. Davidman's advice for prospective entrants is blunt: get to Topgolf and play a practice round or two before qualifying opens, so the venue and the pressure of live shots feel familiar. From there, players can claim a spot and review the full format, schedule and participating locations on the official World Series of Golf Topgolf Satellite Series page, and should set up their WSG app account in advance since it manages scoring, gameplay and the live leaderboard.

Winning a bay is only the start. As Davidman described it, the excitement becomes "palpable" once the next stage is within reach — and the eventual Satellite Series champion in Scottsdale will get a congratulations from former WSG champion Mark Ewing, who is expected to attend the National Final.

Why This Partnership Makes Sense

Tom Metzger, CEO of Lotto.com®, framed the appeal around access: "A tournament where an amateur can walk in and play their way onto a national stage in 30 days. That's the kind of access we believe in."

That's the through line connecting both brands. Lotto.com® built its business on the anticipation of a potential win; WSG built a golf format around that same feeling, minus the cash wagering. Whether it's a scratch ticket ordered from a phone or a strategically played hole at Topgolf, both come down to the same rush — and this fall, both will be part of the same night out.
